Long-term use of preserved eye drops can irritate ocular tissue, especially in senior pets. Lacri+® uses a patented cross-linked hyaluronate technology providing surface lubrication and deeper tear-film support, and a patented multi-chamber bottle that maintains sterility for up to 3 months after opening, compared with about 7 days for traditional preservative-free drops.

In a published pilot trial of 19 dogs with dry eye, eye signs fell by 55% on average after 30 days and tear production increased, with 60% of dogs above 10 mm/min. Vets rated the result good or very good in 93% of cases, and 83% of owners found Lacri+® easy to use (Gard C, Cassagnes C, Muller S, Navarro C, Jahier B. Irish Veterinary Journal, 2023).

Apply drops as directed by your vet, typically daily. Suitable for medium- to long-term routines, including tear staining care, dry-eye support and age-related lacrimal changes, always as part of your vet's plan.
